GUNPOWDER
Also known as the “pearl tea”, Gunpowder is produced only in the Zhejiang Province. These tightly rolled balls of leaves resemble gunpowder pellets, which allow them to be kept longer than other teas. By the end of the seventeenth century, it had become a popular choice of tea in England, North America, Russia, France and Africa. With its lingering aftertaste, strong flavor and a general mellow taste, it is also called “green pearls”.
